Geographic Redundancy

In order to meet ambitious high availability requirements, Mainlab offers colocation space (single or multiple racks, rack cages) in different fire protection sectors within a data center or in different data centers located within a city or even two cities.

The following benefits result from this dispersion:

• Geographic redundancy (at least two data centers, located multiple kilometres apart),
  
• Services of different providers of data center infrastructure,
  
• Operation of different hardware (i.e. router),
  
• Internal connections between each location,
  
• Virtualisation (server, cluster, virtual data center),
  
• Standardized supervision of each location by Mainlab.
  

Besides different external connectivity options, at least one internal connection between each data center location exists.
